Short Description: Individuals trained and certified in the field of Human Resources are qualified to flourish in a wide range of employment positions. HR professionals can pursue a variety of careers such as Manager, Specialist, Executive, Consultant, Training & Development Manager, and International Specialist. HR professionals are qualified to handle such tasks as employee management, communications and disputes, benefits programs managements, navigating government regulations, and creating policies for measuring employee performance.
Students who complete this course will both develop mastery over human resource principles and experience real world scenarios commonly faced by HR professionals. The course will cover HR decision making, employee relations, safety and security, and strategies to cultivate a positive work culture, in addition to the history of the profession as well as important legal aspects. Students who complete the course will receive an exam voucher for the HR Certification Institute's Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification exam - a certification that does not require previous work experience!
