: Network administrators are responsible for the upkeep of computer hardware and software systems. In some cases it is the responsibility of network administrators to design and implement new networks. With this program, students will gain knowledge and skills in Cisco's Entry Networking Technician Interconnecting Networking Devices Part 1 training, and Cisco's Network Associate Interconnecting Networking Devices Part 2 training. This program covers maintenance of PCs, mobile devices, laptops, operating systems, and printers, the fundamentals of computer technology, installation and configuration, and basic networking. We will explore the skills necessary to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small to medium size branch office and enterprise network. With the included practice labs, students will get to practice completing network administrator tasks in a safe, virtual environment that will give them confidence when pursuing employment. Each of the three labs included provide students with multiple case studies that they will have to work through to complete the necessary tasks to achieve the desired outcome. This program also includes certification exams for Cisco's ICND1 100-105 & ICND2 200-105 certifications. With these included certification exams, students will have the credentials and training to successfully pursue a career in network administration!Instructor Description
: Though this program is a self-paced program it is supported by an educational mentor. Educational mentors are subject matter experts who have years of experience in their field as well as the necessary educational training and credentials to work as an expert. The mentor is available to answer any questions a learner may have including questions on course content, course material, certifications, and even industry questions. Mentors also monitor the progress of learners to ensure training retention and program advancement. In eLearning, motivation is a key tool to success. Because of this, mentors provide encouraging comments, feedback, and coaching to motivate learners throughout the duration of the program to support completion and success!Certification
: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be prepared to sit for the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician 100-105 ICND1: CCENT certification exam and the Cisco Certified Network Associate Exam 200-105 ICND2: CCNA certification exam.
Each state may have additional licensing requirements, be sure to research your states requirements for employment by visiting your states occupation board.
PLEASE NOTE: The certifications prepared for in this course will be retired on February 23rd of 2020. Learners must be ready to sit for the exam on or before the retirement date in order to obtain the certification.
