ID : 10787
« back to classes page
Ancient China laid the enduring foundations for what many called the world's longest continuous civilization.  We'll discuss a gentle philosopher whose sayings still guide millions, and a tormented emperor still guarded by a vast terracotta army.  We'll sample some of China's rich culture, including colorful festivals and tales of benevolent dragons and a mischievous Monkey King.  A China-themed lunch will be followed by an opportunity to try out some traditional crafts, such as paper cutting and dough figurines.  We'll also play panda plinko and a game called 'throwing the square."
