This program includes an optional clinical externship opportunity at a local healthcare provider! This will give you invaluable hands-on experience. Additional fees may apply for a background check, drug test and other externship site testing requirements. Fees will be paid by the student at the time of placement in the optional externship.

: Students who complete this program will have the opportunity to pursue the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Phlebotomy Technician Exam. In addition, several state and national certification exams exist to test the competency of aspiring phlebotomy technicians.
Each state may have additional licensing requirements, be sure to research your states requirements for employment by visiting your states occupation board.
